Thrift With Me At Goodwill

I took a quick trip to my local Goodwill yesterday to see what they had on the shelves.  It's been about a month since I have been actively thrifting so it was nice to get out.

The store was not too crowded and it was easy to navigate the aisles.  Their Christmas area is starting to get stocked up with a few bits and bobs.  Here is a quick video to show you what they had.  The store hours have changed due to the pandemic and the store was shutting down to close.

My next video I will share what I actually thrifted!

  1. I've saved it to watch later. I'm looking forward to seeing it. I've not been in a thrift store in months!

  2. I just finished your video. I haven't been to Goodwill since before the lockdown. I used to be a regular shopper and not going seemed to break my habit. As I pass by now, I'm tempted to turn in. What I need desperately is around the house clothes. Mine have slowly worn out and I am running low. I keep grabbing the same (very comfortable shirts and shorts out of the closet). You have encouraged me to go.

    1. Hi Jeannie, I wear the same few clothes too! My closet has a bunch more than I wear, that's for sure.

Everyone had their masks on, the carts were cleaned before each use, and most everyone was practicing social distancing.

I hope you find what you need!

    2. An update: Yesterday I finally went to my local Good Will store and was disappointed. The dressing rooms are closed so no one could try on clothes. The store was half-empty of merchandise. I walked out without buying anything even though my shopping list was long. I will go again later since we are almost completely opened back up now. It feels good to see normal return.

    3. Yes, our dressing rooms are still closed. On the plus side, the shelves are packed. HOpe your next trip is more successful.
